MediaCity is proud to have been selected as a partner in the ”Energialähettiläs 2.0” project. Building on the success of the first instalment of the campaign in 2012, MediaCity’s role in this year’s campaign is that of the storyteller; building the foundation for the worldwide trek the Ambassador will experience later in 2013. Storytelling is at the heart of most of MediaCity’s activities, be it format development, TV production or UX research. For this project, the format developers – Simon Staffans and Anders Wik – have been engaged to create the story foundations, build the strategies for interaction between different media and develop the transmedia strategies to link all of these together – everything in close cooperation with VASEK as the commissioner and C2 as the advertising agency for the project. Suvi Markko of VASEK says that appointing MediaCity as a partner was the logical choice: - We cooperated with Mediacity in smaller scale last year and were very impressed by the expertiese, engagement and proactiveness of the persons involved. When preparing a new campaign it was a priority for us to get a professional partner like Mediacity in the team. Everyone can have a good story but not anyone can tell it!
